Webzation has agreed a deal for rack space to house its 16 high spec quad core servers.

Webzation's servers now operate in a Manchester data centre on the backbone of the internet in what Scott Rowland (Webzation's Technical Director) described as 'the ultimate technical environment for our servers'. 'When you're aiming for 100% uptime, resilience in the network is key, all critical hardware, such as routers and firewalls is duplicated, meaning that the failure of an individual piece of hardware will have little or minimal impact on the overall running of the network to which our hardware connects. We also have a connection to multiple upstream bandwidth providers, giving us complete independence from the failure of any bandwidth provider or facility'.

Located on the Manchester Technopark on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre the facility is supplied by two diverse 6.6KV feeds from the national grid. Two 2MW Generators with at least 7 days supply of fuel provide full capability to sustain long power outages and offers a corresponding 100% power availability SLA.
